CSNV provides financial fitness counseling to families and individuals who are delinquent or in

default on their mortgage.

One-on-one in person counseling is offered. During the one-on-one session, the counselor

reviews the homeowner’s documents and budget; together they develop an help homeowners

to understand their options; an action plan and ways to resolve the issues at hand are analyzed;

counselor then contacts provider and negotiate solutions. When it is determined that a client is

in dire need of other types of services he or she is referred to the appropriate local service provider.
